Yoga for Peace is a relaxation based, progressive yoga series including Somatics, breathwork, meditation, restorative yoga, self-massage, joint freeing series, somatic movements, visualizations, and deep relaxation. Yoga for Peace is designed to help support nervous system regulation through intelligently designed sequencing with modifications provided throughout class.

Yoga for Peace is a slower paced class, for all levels, designed to provide experiential practice in slowing down, letting go, and coming into the moment. Helpful for anyone dealing with burnout/chronic stress, anxiety, depression, chronic pain/mobility issues, insomnia/sleep issues or simply looking to slow down and relax.

In this 8-week series, we will explore the roots of the yogic philosophy and concepts of revolutionary love, as possible lenses to navigate an ever-changing world.

You are invited to deepen your awareness of alignment-based yoga, somatic experiencing, mindfulness, mythology and Ayurvedic-inspired rituals and practices, so that we may tenderly sit with the parts of ourselves that are implicated and/or impacted by systems of harm. Let us begin to heal ourselves and the collective from common ground, rather than division and polarity.

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to repattern your breathing to relieve pressure on your pelvic floor throughout the day, build deep core awareness for improved stability, and discover new engagement techniques to prevent excessive downward pressure on your pelvic floor. We’ll also explore how to load your core in a pelvic floor friendly way in various body positions to enhance strength and stability.

Stretch to Meditate Series

This class is designed to wake-up and delve into deep juicy stretches and flow through a sequence of easeful postures that enliven and nourish a sense of expansion, extension and freedom in your body.
In so that, you are ready to sit in meditation and contemplation.  Each class will flow through asanas for ~40 minutes and then delve into pranayama (breath techniques) and varying meditation techniques for the remaining 20 minutes.

This series offers modifications and chair-yoga options,  for all ages (over 18 years) and abilities.
